Once Upon A Time is a full service creative agency with offices in London, LA, New York, Nottingham and Australia. The Soho (London) Content division produces high quality video content for the film and TV industry, including filmed BTS and EPKs, creative content shoots, press junkets, Q+As and red-carpet coverage. We also boast an in-house post-production facility with five edit suits and a fully integrated Post team situated within our office. Our work can be found daily - on air and online, all over the world.
About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and supportive person to join our Production team. You will work within the production team, under the direction of the Managing Director, Producers and Production Manager to help ensure the office, the production department and our shoots run smoothly.
We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and is enthusiastic about the industry. We are a small team but production is always busy so you would be in and out of the office, prepping for shoots and then assisting out in the field, especially on junkets. The role requires someone who is a team player and who is hungry to learn.
Please note that this position may require flexibility with working hours as we are often influenced by our clients' needs.
Key responsibilities:
* To Assist the producers to set up shoots
* To Assist the producers with scheduling on junkets and shoots
* To Work on logistics for shoots
* Assist on shoots
* Ensuring the diary is always up to date with client briefs
* Completing and sending out crew documents such as Call Sheets, Risk Assessments, Movement Orders
* Keeping shoot reports and shoots logs up to date
* Transcribing interviews
* Working with Producers to ensure all aspects of shoots are covered, which includes but isn’t limited to, booking locations, hotels, travel and other logistics
* Working with the Production Manager and Production Coordinator to co-ordinate crew + equipment for shoots where necessary
* General day-to-day tasks in the office, e.g. answering phones, helping with daily office tasks, re-stocking stationery and kitchen cupboards
Key Skills:
* Experience in production and/or broadcast services
* Verbal and written communication skills
* Organisational skills
* Good attention to detail
* Hardworking and enthusiastic
* Good knowledge of google docs and general spreadsheets
* Good time-management skills, together with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Maintained level of professionalism at work and on shoots
* The ability to handle confidential information
* A strong team player
Additional skills:
* Preferably some experience in authoring Call Sheets, Risk Assessments, Movement Orders – general production paperwork
* Preferably some experience with schedules and scheduling
