MMC is seeking candidate for SQL Server Database Administrator to be in Liverpool office or in any other local UK offices on a hybrid schedule of 3 days a week in office
SQL Server Database Administrator
1. This position is for an established and productive professional individual contributor in Information Technology, who works independently with minimal supervision.
2. We are a large team who together, across the AUS, UK, Canada & US are responsible for significant databases & project related to our Oracle environment.

We will count on you to:
10. Able to work Independently with least supervision
11. Work closely with offshore team to ensure smooth transition of work handover if required
12. Hands on experience in resolving configuration/performance issues.
13. Understanding of active-active cluster
14. DR Failover knowledge.
15. Knowledge of T-SQL & PowerShell scripting is an asset
What you need to have:
16. Previous DBA experience working with SQL Server versions 2016 and above.
17. Experience in Installation and configuration of SQL server, SSRS, SSIS & SSAS of SQL Version 2016 and higher
18. Involvement in making recommendations involving capacity planning
19. Planning for backup and recovery of databases
20. Configure LogShipping, Mirroring, Clustering
21. Hands on experience with Implementation of TDE. Knowledge or experience with Azure Key Vault will be an asset
22. Experience in index tuning, performance counters and query store
23. T-SQL & PowerShell scripting is an asset
24. Good knowledge of active-active cluster, data partitioning, multi-thread environment
25. Troubleshooting DB related alerts
26. Role requires to be on a On-call rotation over the weekend.
