We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Care team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in children's social work, excellent case management skills, and a commitment to supporting children and young people in care. This role involves working closely with children, foster carers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for looked after children.
Responsibility's;
1. Manage a caseload of children and young people in care, ensuring each child receives the appropriate level of care and support.
2. Conduct regular assessments to monitor the progress and well being of children in care.
3. Develop, implement, and review care plans in collaboration with children, foster carers, and other professionals.
4. Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people in care, helping them to achieve stability and success.
5. Advocate for the rights and needs of children in care, ensuring their voices are heard and considered in all decisions.
6. Facilitate access to resources and services, such as education, health care, and extracurricular activities.
7. Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and well being of children in care.
8. Follow local safeguarding procedures and policies.
9. Report and document any concerns or incidents promptly and accurately.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) from an accredited institution.
Registered with Social Work England.
