We are seeking an accomplished Account Director to oversee the relationship with key suppliers and lead a high-performing Supplier Account Management team. As the Account Director you’ll be responsible for building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with high-value suppliers, ensuring satisfaction with the services provided, and identifying opportunities to expand and strengthen partnerships. You’ll lead a team of two Strategic Account Managers, ensuring exceptional service delivery while achieving mutual growth objectives. Key Responsibilities for the Account Director: Oversee the day-to-day operations and development of two Strategic Account Managers. Act as the primary point of contact for high-value suppliers, fostering strong, collaborative partnerships with C-suite executives and decision-makers. Understand supplier business goals and challenges, aligning strategies to meet shared objectives. Develop and implement account strategies to drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic initiatives. Lead contract renewals, renegotiations, and discussions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Deliver accurate revenue forecasts and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure account success. Represent the business at conferences, exhibitions, and public forums, enhancing brand awareness and promoting services. Ensure supplier retention by proactively addressing challenges and fostering satisfaction. Monitor team performance and actively contribute to a culture of high standards and continuous improvement.
