Pay: £100 - £160 per day.
About the Role:
A special educational needs (SEN) teacher will work with children and young people who need extra support, or require an advanced programme of learning, in order to reach their full educational potential.
A SEN teacher may work with individuals who have physical disabilities, sensory impairments (i.e. hearing or visual), speech and language difficulties, learning difficulties such as dyslexia, conditions such as autism, social, emotional and mental health needs, or have a combination of these difficulties.
A SEN teacher may also work with gifted and talented individuals.
A key aspect of working in this field is identifying individual needs and being responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment.

Key Requirements:
Be a fully qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent overseas qualification)
Be happy to cover subjects outside of your subject specialism
Hold a fully enhanced DBS (on the Update service) - ability to obtain a new one
Have references covering the last two years (no gaps)
Hold the Right to work in the UK
SEN ExperienceDuties will include:
Create a positive learning atmosphere.
Plan, deliver, and mark lessons that cater to all student abilities.
Motivate and challenge pupils with your teaching methods.
Display good levels of classroom control.
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the curriculum.
