The Independent Child Protection Conference Service provides a vital quality assurance role in safeguarding Children at risk of significant harm in Lambeth. Child protection conference chairs work closely with SWs, families and other agencies to build a child protection plan that is purposeful and safeguards the children.

1. Care Act assessments
2. Report writing
3. Providing high quality casework
4. Having an informed understanding of mental health factors impacting child development
5. Work on cases with increased complexity
6. Determine an appropriate level of intervention and service provision
Requirements:
7. Minimum 3 years direct experience of chairing child protection conferences.
8. Previous management experience working within child safeguarding services
9. Skills of multi-agency working, developing child focused CP plans, understanding of dispute resolution and escalation process and challenging professional agencies.
