Job Duties:
* Provide one-to-one tutoring to Key Stage 3 (KS3) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting
* Develop and implement personalised learning plans based on students' individual needs and goals
* Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' academic and personal development
* Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN support strategies and best practises
* Ability to tailor teaching approaches to meet individual student needs
* Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or related field
* Experience working in an outreach or community setting
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing tutoring services to students with SEN in an outreach capacity. The work may require travel to different locations within the Greater London area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
