We are actively looking for a Fire and Building Safety Officer to join a housing association in the Birmingham area on a permanent basis. As the Fire and Building Safety officer you will be:
1. Carrying out building and fire door inspections, managing and reviewing ongoing fire risk assessments
2. Ensuring all policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current legislations
3. Imputing data and ensuring all certificates and risk assessments are completed and filed correctly
4. Inspecting properties to ensure fire and building safety is adhered to and the fire safety systems are up to date
As the Fire and Building Safety officer you will need:
5. In depth knowledge of fire and building safety processes and actions
6. Experience completing fire safety checks on domestic properties
7. Knowledge of M&E services
8. Previous experience of working within the social housing sector
9. Proficient skills and knowledge of using IT systems and data logging
