What you will do
HGV 24/7 Technician - Late shift
New Rates and a £2000 attraction bonus
Are you an experienced and qualified HGV level 3 Technician who likes doing call outs and who would like to earn £56,000 basic with the overtime rate at £40.50
Paying £27.00 pr for a 40 hour basic week on the late shift plus every other week on call out, this role offers great earning potential. We also offer dedicated training courses within our RTC training centre where you can continue your knowledge and skills with ongoing refresher training including electromobility courses - the way forward in working to zero emissions.

Main Duties:
6. Provide diagnostic and technical diagnosis and accurately specify repair solutions
7. Specify repair solutions to facilitate the production of quotes / works orders
8. Specify repair solutions for defects / minor defects found during service or other planned work
9. Ensure time recording procedures are complied with including correct use of codes
10. Ensure timely hand over of completed, fully specified jobs to CSR for invoicing
11. Carry out effective shift hand over including any outstanding repair order & customer issues
Shifts
Working perm Lates over a 40 hour week as follows:
12. 14.30 to 23.00 with a 30 min break plus every other week on standby
13. Hours worked on a call out paid extra
14. Sat morning shift working as and when required
What you can bring to us:
15. Significant experience of working as a technician within the Heavy Goods Vehicle industry
16. Good knowledge of VOSA requirements and MOT testers manual.
17. An understanding of Operators Licence Laws and Regulations
18. The application of Standard Times
19. Knowledge of workshop KPI’s
20. Technical product knowledge
Requirements:
21. HGV Technician City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent
22. To be able to effectively communicate at all levels both written and verbally
23. To be able to understand & analyse technical issues & propose appropriate solutions
24. To be able to operate GDS and Impact systems, specific to the process stages
25. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
