What is the job role?
We have an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced higher level teaching assistant (Grade 5) to join our team at Willenhall Community Primary School.
You will be:
1. Delivering planned learning with individuals, groups or classes of pupils in the absence of a Teaching Assistant or Teacher.
2. Managing, organising and preparing resources for planned learning.
3. Working within a forward-thinking team to deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
4. Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and welfare of children
5. Working in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
6. Providing whole-class cover across the school as required
7. Making accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children

Who are we looking for?
An experienced HLTA who is passionate about providing an exciting and inspiring curriculum for all pupils. With experience of working across the primary range, you will be looking for a new challenge where you will be instrumental in developing our pupils’ learning experience across the school. We expect you to:
13. Hold a level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area, or externally assessed HLTA status
14. Have a minimum of 3 years' experience working as a teaching assistant in a school, ideally with experience of leading learning in large groups or class sessions
15. To have experience of working with pupils with additional educational needs
16. To demonstrate knowledge, understanding and application of the HLTA standards
