Job Description:
Work alongside Client Aerospace Team to Design and Deploy a new on-premises AD infrastructure (GPO, DNS, RBAC etc.). Assist in deployment and configuration of Entra Connect, PKI Solution and COTS Patching Solution.
To work under the guidance, control, and instruction of the existing Client team in the deployment of four new DCs to support any AD server moves to the primary UK data centre and the decommission of the existing four DCs. SP to perform a discovery across the AD environment and to provide a recommendation to either:
retain existing AD environment or
build a new AD environment
to support the ".NET" namespace.
Based on the above recommendation SP to support Client in either:
the reconfiguration of the existing, or
the build of a new AD environment
to support the ".NET" namespace.
For additional reference the AD resource will support Client in the following activities.
1. The deployment and configuration of four new DCs (2 x forest root and 2 x child domain) on new IP ranges into the existing AD environment. Once completed the decommission of the existing four DCs (2 x forest root and 2 x child domain) on the old IP ranges.
2. AD Discovery and Recommendation report. The technical details to be gathered through the running of "Read-Only" scripts provided by Capgemini but run by Client. The AD Discovery and Recommendation report would include the below.
