Working Pattern: Rolling 8 week rota. Shifts on the shift pattern are 06:00 - 14:00; 14:00 - 22:00; 22:00 - 06:00; and 09:00 - 17:00.

Salary: £12.50 - £18.75
Looking for a fulfilling role in a vital service? We're searching for a full-time Switchboard Operator to join the team at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
You'll play a crucial role in connecting callers to the right places. Handling approximately 3000+ calls a day, you will assist both internal and external inquiries, including emergency calls.

The Role
1. Answering internal and external calls withing agreed KPI and SLA agreements
2. Providing efficient, courteous, and helpful support to callers
3. Operating internal bleep system
4. Proactively maintaining the computer database of hospital personnel, departments and telephone numbers
5. Undertaking any clerical duties deemed necessary in order to promote efficient at all times
6. Required to work public and bank holidays, should your shift fall on that day as our department operates 24/7, 365 days a year
About You
7. Important to have good communication and clerical skills
8. Be reliable and able to work well as part of a team,
9. Able to cope well under pressure
10. Previous experience would be preferred but not essential, full training will be given
