You should have previous HR experience and ideally an understanding of Safer Recruitment and hiring requirements in children's social care under Ofsted regulations (although this is not essential).
Our company is hiring a Human Resources and Office Administrator to work onsite in Ilford, East London supporting the Residential team with onboarding and managing staff. You will be a part of a HR team and have support externally and from our legal online systems.
A successful candidate will have a background in HR & Recruitment administration and Care, and will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as:
- Onboarding successful new staff with reference and viability checks
- Ensuring Safer recruitment processes in hiring and processing safeguarding / DBS / hiring checks
- Managing systems entry and contract generation for HR
- Liaising with accounts, training and home managers to ensure staff are welcomed and supported through induction
- Managing internal hires and uploading data to the HR & Payroll systems
- Dealing with internal IT setup of systems or new users
- Supporting managers with day to day administration of the home, organising meetings and booking meeting rooms etc.
We are looking for a detail orientated person who works in a process orientated manner. You should be able to prove these skill sets and example work on spreadsheets or in data administration.
You will be starting to support a number of busy London homes and will have the full support of a current administrative team outside of the area.
Training will be provided. Flexible and casual work style. Central London based office in Oxford Circus.

Pay: From £22000 per annum
Expected hours: Mon-Fri 9-5
