The Bodens Group, founded by Geoff Boden in the late 1950s, is still owned and operated by the Boden family three generations later. The company has multiple sites across the UK, with the main depot located on a 15-acre site in Astley, Manchester. Bodens Group specializes in wood recycling operations and is a leading manufacturer and supplier of pet products distributed nationally.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Administrator at The Bodens Group in Tyldesley. The Accounts Administrator will be responsible for finance, accounting, customer service, account reconciliation, and account management tasks on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all inbound/outbound paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.
* Monitor and chase documentation in support of the sales ledger/invoicing.
* Processing of all new business/contracts to ensure linked to invoicing and charged.
* Processing of all contract reviews to ensure accurate billing.
* Issuing of customer invoices along with analysis/reports to accompany as required.
* Dealing with customer, management & director queries.
* Providing weekly reports & updates for the department.
* Implementing all Customer Accounts obtained via acquisitions and ensure invoicing & records are set up.
* Implementing & maintaining records of commercial data where required
* Obtaining Purchase Order references, proof of deliver etc for invoicing.
* Liaising with customers on and assisting to resolve any queries that they have with the invoices submitted.
* Liaising with other departments as necessary to resolve any queries.
* Assisting with data base maintenance to ensure links to invoicing are updated when required.
* Assisting with all general admin duties within this department.
Qualifications
* Experience in a sales ledger role including invoice processing and use of Sage Line 50 would be advantageous but not essential.
* Good organisation and time management skills with high attention to detail and an ability to plan, prioritise and adapt to meet timescales and deadlines.
* PC literate with excellent communication skills.
* Can work autonomously or part of a team.
