Our Creykes Lodge service assists clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We require enthusiastic, caring individuals to take our clients to the seaside, shopping, and to local restaurants. As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients to enable them to live their best life. You will be passionate about making a difference in our client’s lives, helping them to fulfill their aspirations and ambitions. This homely service is set in Goole (DN14), and holding a UK driving license is essential. The role involves personal care and manual handling; full training is provided.
Main duties of the job
1. Prepare person-centred support plans with clients that reflect their views and aspirations, reviewing and amending them as necessary.
2. Support clients to fulfill their aspirations, promoting independence in accordance with their skills and abilities.
3. Communicate openly and transparently with clients and team members.
4. Provide personal care to clients respectfully, including assistance with washing and toileting.
5. Keep accurate records, including daily notes, with full involvement of the client.

1. Willing to provide an appropriate level of care and support to clients, including personal care.
2. Understanding the importance of maintaining accurate written and numerical records.
3. Ability to undertake a wide range of personal care and domestic duties.
4. Able to carry out the physical requirements of the role, including climbing stairs, using hoists, pushing wheelchairs, and night work.
5. Willing to learn how to use computer packages (such as Word, Outlook, and the Internet) and to undertake relevant training and qualifications in care if required.
6. Able to work cooperatively as a team member.
7. Able to liaise and communicate effectively with carers, families, inspectors, and other external stakeholders.
8. UK Driving license is essential.
