Term: Fixed-term initially for 12 months, with possibility to extend
Working Hours: Part-time (15 hours per week)
Salary: £25,992 - £27,711 pro rata for part time

An opportunity has arisen to be part of the Resettlement Services team supporting newly granted refugees across the Borough.
The role
The Asylum Support Assistant will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administrative service for the Council’s Asylum and Refugee Services. Outline duties will include monitoring spend and income, preparing and submitting funding claims and using data to track and quantify the impact of emerging refugee communities on access to internal and external services.

* Good organisational skills with the ability to meet targets and deadlines,
* The ability to accurately input and extract information from systems and spreadsheets, and
* The ability to work occasional unsociable hours as required.
