Service Delivery Manager
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 + £500/month car allowance + attractive manager bonus structure
Reports to: General Manager
About the Role
Are you ready to lead from the front and drive operational excellence? At NWH Group, we’re seeking a Service Delivery Manager for our Edinburgh operations to ensure optimal service delivery across trade waste, skip, and hook fleets. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our transport and operational teams deliver results aligned with our core values: Safety First, NWH Family, Aim Higher, Beyond Compliance, and Think National, Act Local.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the transport and order processing teams to optimise vehicle activity and achieve high customer satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with all road transport and health & safety legislation.
* Oversee vehicle maintenance in collaboration with the Maintenance team.
* Recruit, assess, and develop drivers, ensuring training plans and appraisals are in place.
* Manage tachograph systems and adhere to driver hours regulations.
* Monitor and report on departmental performance, ensuring KPIs are met.
* Take full accountability for H&S compliance and profitability across designated sectors and sites.
* Implement company policies, drive cultural alignment, and lead by example.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a proactive leader who can inspire teams while maintaining high standards of compliance, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Transport Manager CPC (or currently studying)
* Knowledge of road transport legislation and geographical expertise
* Excellent communication and team leadership skills
* Positive attitude with a professional approach
* Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
Desirable Qualifications:
* SAFED training
* IOSH Health & Safety certification
* First Aid training
