An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our college staff community in the new role of Student Inclusion Officer. Following a period of growth, the college is seeking to appoint a passionate and engaging individual to actively liaise and support students and site users while maintaining a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with our student community when they are not accessing timetabled classes to ensure that they are using their time effectively to support their studies while also responding to the individual needs of students regarding their support and wellbeing.
This will include deploying restorative approaches to help address and manage non-compliance with college rules and expectations, including behavior, as well as a supervisory and response function across the college campus, ensuring we provide and maintain a safe environment for all.
The college is looking for individuals committed to holistic approaches to support students' academic and personal development. The successful candidate will need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work under pressure, be a team member, and be confident working independently with our students, staff, and other site users.
The post will commence as soon as possible once all safer recruitment checks are appropriately completed. All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.
St Vincent College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We particularly welcome applications from underrepresented groups, including ethnicity, gender, transgender, age, disability, sexual orientation, or religion.
