About the Role
Archaeological Research Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geoarchaeologist and Paleoenvironmental Officer to join our team in Sheffield and Bakewell. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in conducting fieldwork, developing geoarchaeological solutions, and collaborating with colleagues to drive project success.
This is a full-time position that offers occasional fieldwork and flexibility for home working. We are looking for an individual with expertise in paleoenvironmental analysis, geological surveying, and archaeological research methods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geoarchaeology and paleoenvironmental science, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced research environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leading and coordinating projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
* Developing and implementing geoarchaeological solutions to support research and project outcomes
* Maintaining effective relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients
Essential Requirements:
* Master's or Ph.D. in Geoarchaeology, Paleoenvironmental Science, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in geoarchaeological research and project management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Salary and Benefits:
* £36,620 - £42,400 per annum, depending on experience
