Head of Digital Factory – New Bus/Renewal Customer Journey

AXA XL are creating a new delivery model based on agile and a new vendor model to enable more efficient delivery of technology with the business fully embedded in what we deliver.This Digital Factory will first deliver new capabilities for Fusion Transformation and then will be rolled out to other capabilities within GT and DIA.
Owns end-to-end delivery of business solutions for the entire Squads and Platforms related to Customer Journey (New Business/ Renewal) for Global Technology; Understands the strategy, needs and challenges of the customer journey owner s/he supports as well as technology platforms that support those journeys.Creates and maintains relationships with stakeholders in the business and TCD / GT / DIA. Oversees IT delivery for projects, production support and maintenance activities across all platforms.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
1. Driving the design and set up of the AXA XL Digital Factory with appropriate stakeholders.Working with the CTO and strategic vendor to create a scalable digital factory model
2. Provide management oversight, strategy and direction to digital delivery squads within the customer journey
3. Provide high-level organization goals and objectives
4. Collaborates with business stakeholders on opportunity identification issue resolution and governance.
5. Control and manage budget for the GT spend within the Customer Journey scope
6. Ensure the scope of services, organization model, and key processes required to deliver services are properly executed in line with the overall Factory Model
7. Manage relationships from Procurement - Portfolio Managers to suppliers within the Factory model
8. Supports delivery through escalation of risks and issues that cannot be resolved by Digital Delivery squads
9. Define and execute actions plan for concerns raised as a result of audits
10. Close working relationship with Chapters / Guilds to ensure that performance management is
11. In collaboration with Procurement, manages RFI/RFPs, contract negotiations and delivery of contract terms. Also manages clean term Solution Delivery Centre of contracts with vendors who consistently underperform
12. Ensure that business cases for application investments, such as technology upgrades, productivity tools, and continuous service improvement initiatives are developed
13. Review and approve contracts for a predetermined level of authority
14. Supports delivery through escalation of risks and issues
15. Provides audit support for both internal and external assessments;
16. Articulates policies and standards as appropriate and provides all required evidence on a timely basis.Owns the completion of any action plans.
17. Ensures the Solution Delivery Centre adheres to Information Security policies and standards for secure coding and manages risk acceptances.
You will report to the Global Head of Digital Factory.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
18. Significant IT and business/industry work experience in a Digital Factory Model, including experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
19. Demonstrable ability to solve complex problems/issues
20. Excellent communications skills which are adapted to different audiences and can effectively drive consensus within the Digital Factory including the Journey Owners, Product Owners and delivery team(s)
21. Adept at vendor management, both commercially and interpersonally, with a clear understanding of Digital Factory model
22. Ability to articulate problems, create solutions, and present analysis with proper detail and rigor for the target audience
23. Thought leader in implementing agile practices with experience leading teams through change
24. Expert knowledge of modern application development (specifically utilizing Cloud and microservices architecture) and using agile delivery methods with a significant background in application development
25. Ability to design product strategy and roadmap and work within a Digital Factory
26. Experience with User story development, personas definition, backlog prioritization
27. Ability to measure the success of the product – KPIs identification and tracking
28. Advanced experience / capability in Financial forecasting and business case justification
29. Must have good understanding of Agile methodology and be familiar with multiple SDLC
30. Previous experience leading development and delivery teams in delivering high quality, low defect solutions
31. Track record for metrics-driven results is a plus
32. Experience in planning and executing multiple complex, large scale initiatives or operational areas.
33. Highly advanced analytical abilities with operational vision.
