We are seeking to appoint a Facilities Manager to ensure that the School's premises are well managed and maintained, providing excellent facilities for school, community and commercial use with a safe and secure environment for all.
This is a part time role starting ASAP and you will be expected to work 2 - 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day.

Responsibilities for this position:
7. To undertake general repairs and maintenance throughout the whole school site including plumbing, carpentry/joinery, plastering, decorating, repairs on furnishings and buildings, including woodwork to ensure a safe environment, with support from external contractors as necessary
8. To manage, maintain and adjust daily, weekly, monthly and annual Health and Safety inspection schedules
9. Able in dealing with deliveries and contractors and locking up the school
10. Responsibility for the management of the Health and Safety records to ensure that documents are securely stored, shared as required and accessible on request
11. Repairs and Maintenance budget holder with management of any facilities related accounts, payment cards, ordering processes and any associated records
12. Management of attendance of the start and end of day traffic duties
13. To contribute to the Critical Incident plan on all Facilities and Health and Safety related matters
14. To maintain and manage relationships with external contractors
We are looking for someone with the below skills
15. Experience working as a Facilities Manager in the School (preferable)
16. Excellent communication and organisational skills
17. Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team
18. Able to work in a highly pressured environment to meet demands and deadlines
19. An eye for detail and committed to accuracy
20. Relevant professional experience along with 2 recent professional references
21. Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
22. Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to complete a new DBS
23. Excellent team working ethic with the ability to use initiative and work on own when required
