Empowering Learning are looking for Teacher of SEND to work in an impressive SEND Setting near Oakham. Experience working in a school setting and experience with SEND pupils is favourable. Experience within the a sector with transferrable skills may also be considered. Driving will be essential due to rural location.
Required Experience:
* QTS/Teaching or Tutoring experience
* Taught ICT
* Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
* Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children
* Have an interest in supporting young people with a variety of SEND
* Have experience supporting children with additional needs
* Be a part of the school team taking part in the wider school environment
* Have an understanding of PMLD
Job Description:
1. ICT teacher to groups and day to day running of the class
2. Teacher children across a wide range school activities
3. Supporting staff/children during lunch and break times
4. Managing pupils personalised learning based on their individual need.
5. Delivering to small groups
6. Collecting evidence of children's work to support their assessment
7. Delivering an ICT/Computing curriculum to SEMH Pupils
