Job Description:
We are J. J Freight and Logistics Limited, a reputable middle-mile service provider to big brand names.
Salary: £39,500 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as an ambassador for the company in the timely and efficient collection of customers' mail/parcels.
* Maintain compliance to legal, regulatory and company requirements at all times.
* Collect and deliver customers' goods safely and securely in line with company/customer requirements.
* Accurately complete relevant paperwork as required via our online app.
* Maintain vehicles, consumables and assets used in clean and secure condition.
* Complete tachograph charts and return them in accordance with legislation.
* Provide professional and courteous customer service.
* Drive company vehicles safely and properly in accordance with current legislation.
* Report any accident, breakdown or emergency in line with divisional policy.
* Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
* Adhere to Health, Safety and Environment policies and other relevant regulations.

Requirements:
* CURRENT and clean appropriate class of driving licence for the role (HGV/Class C/Class C+E).
* Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) with no current suspension or revocation.
* Good communication skills for effective collaboration and customer liaison.
* Ability to manage own work efficiently while maintaining performance standards.
* Positive and proactive approach to work with clear customer focus.
* Team player with a positive attitude, hard-working and willing to learn.
* No more than six penalty points (including no DD, DR or IN endorsements).
* Digital Tachograph / Smart Card holder.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Willingness to undergo a Background Check (BGC) and Drug and Alcohol (D&A) test.
