Job Purpose:
1. To provide a safe clean working kitchen environment

5. Willing and able to work the shifts required to suit the needs of the business
6. Willing to take on extra hours to cover holidays/staff shortages
7. Well organised to conduct/manage multiple tasks throughout the day.
8. Understanding of which chemicals are to be used for each task (full COSHH training will be given).
Need to Act:
9. With energy and drive to perform tasks quickly and effectively
10. With initiative, identifying things that require cleaning immediately, without necessarily having to be tasked by a manager In a respectful manner, considering guests around you
11. Responsibly and safely when performing all tasks by using the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).With care and consideration by using necessary signage and equipment when performing duties with machinery i.e. Wet floor sign when appropriate, and trailing cables sign when hoovering.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
12. Keeping a clean & tidy kitchen at all times
13. Washing of pots, pans and machinery
14. Putting deliveries away in compliance with HACCAP policy
15. Labelling of food in compliance with HACCAP & Allergen policy
16. Supporting chefs in basic food preparation
17. Deep cleaning as per the cleaning schedule / business demand
Qualifications
Experience in a kitchen an advantage but full training will be provided
