Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure that 20+ multicurrency UK office bank accounts, are performed on a daily and weekly basis as required, investigating differences and resolving queries in a timely manner, for overall review by the Group Treasury Manager.
2. Perform reconciliations for any bank accounts that are not reconciled by other teams, for overall review by the Group Treasury Manager.
3. Post general ledger transactions (outside of the AP and AR sub ledgers) for the UK entities, where required including: Inter-account transfers, Payroll, Vat, Tax, Intercompany transfers, FX deals to support the Group Treasury Manager and other stakeholders.
4. Action general office payments (as above) in various banking platforms, NatWest, HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds and RBOS, as requested by various stakeholders across the business.
5. Provide input and information into the UK short-term liquidity forecast for review by the Group Treasury Manager and Controllership teams, reporting on variances.
6. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations of the UK bank accounts for inclusion in the balance sheet control file, for review by the Controllership team, locally and in Group.
7. Assist where required with office banking administration, eg direct debits mandates, bank mandate changes, banking forms as and when required.
Essential Skills and Experience
Required
8. Part qualified (ACCA / CIMA) or AAT qualified, study support is offered to further career.
9. Experience of using banking systems, entering payments and performing bank reconciliations.
10. Ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines and work in a face paced, multicurrency environment.
11. Work collaboratively across multi functions, legal cashiers, accounts payable and teams within the Controllership areas.
