We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Outside School Hours Care Coordinator to lead our small 45 place service.
At Christ the King Outside School Hours Care we provide before school care, after school care and vacation care. We support the needs of children, families, and staff by providing a safe environment that is designed to cater for the different ages of children, their skills, abilities and interests.
The successful candidate will bring their positive energy and welcoming demeanour to maintain strong networks with children, families, and stakeholders.
We have a supportive management team and head office staff, who work together with you to ensure the service provides the best quality care for our children.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration, and financial management tasks.
2. Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program.
3. Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
4. Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
5. Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare
Job Requirements:
6. Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines (desirable).
7. Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
8. A strong understanding of Childcare legislation including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place
9. Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
10. Proven leadership and team development skills
