B2 Licensed Engineer
The B2 Licensed Engineer is responsible for the certification of line, non-routine maintenance, and repair on H135/H145 rotorcraft. Type training will be provided for a suitable candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
* Perform maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by the nominated LAE Supervisor.
* Lead a team to ensure the continued safe operation of the aircraft.
* Complete maintenance tasks, including avionic and electrical systems.
* Replace avionic line-replaceable units, requiring simple tests to confirm serviceability.
* Supervise avionic and electrical fitters and certify their work.
* Conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in the Avionics workshop as required.
* Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping duties.
Desired Knowledge and Skills:
Essential:
* Thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems.
* Familiarity with specialized test equipment related to avionic and electrical systems.
* Up-to-date knowledge of:
* CAA regulations, particularly Part 145 and Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM)
* Flight and Airport Operations
* Aircraft Line Maintenance
Desirable:
* Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS.
* Experience with SAP and ERP software.
