What will I be doing?
1. As an Inventory Controller at our Energy Recovery Centre, your role is crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will:
2. Manage and oversee our stores inventory, ensuring spares and consumables are available when needed.
3. Control, order, and issue stock to support the continuous operation of our equipment, ensuring spares are promptly booked-in and correctly requisitioned out of our CMMS system.
4. Maintain accurate records using our inventory monitoring systems.
5. Take responsibility for the financial management of inventory, ensuring cost-effective stock levels.
6. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to support maintenance activities.
What are the requirements?
We're looking for someone who:
7. Has experience in an engineering environment, particularly within heavy industry.
8. Has knowledge, experience and understanding of supply chain processes within inventory control operations.
9. Is IT literate, with experience in CMMS and raising orders being highly desirable.
10. Is methodical and process-oriented, with the initiative to refine and improve inventory processes.
11. Has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work, striving for continuous improvement.
