Position: Electronics Engineer - creating Test Systems
Rate: Up to £60 per hour, outside IR35
Location of work: Onsite in Warwick
Contract Length: 3-month rolling
KO2's client is a leading electronics business who require an Electronics Engineer for an initial 3 month contract to play a vital role in the development of multiple test systems for medical devices. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Electronics Engineer looking to take on responsibility in defining requirements and delivering innovative, high-quality solutions in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Determine and document system requirements, translating complex needs into well-defined solutions.
2. Develop and implement test systems, leveraging both bespoke hardware and off-the-shelf components to achieve optimal functionality.
Key Requirements:
1. Proficiency in Altium for schematic design and PCB layout.
2. Hardware and Test System Design: Able to design and build robust test systems, adapting solutions from a mix of custom-built and ready-made components.
3. Requirements Gathering: Skilled at clarifying project briefs by gathering insights from team members and turning general ideas into actionable requirements.
4. Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive, solution-oriented approach, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
5. Team Collaboration: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
