Geography teacher
Crewe
September 2024 to Easter 2025, possibly longer
A dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher is required to work in a popular secondary school in Crewe from September until Easter 2025.
This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced Geography teachers.
You will be required to become fully involved within the department & across the school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.

Minimum rate of pay from GBP160 per day
Hours 8:15am – 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however, it is not essential that it is Geography related)
Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT,, QTS, etc) in Geography
Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)
Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)
Up to date FGM training (essential, again, we can provide training)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide a minimum of two professional references
