Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a learning support assistant to work at a Special Needs School based in Bristol, which caters for children ages 3 – 16.
The school supports students with learning difficulties, sensory impairments, autism and challenging behaviour. As a learning support assistant you will be working 1-1 and in small groups with the students.
Due to the challenging behaviours of the students, this role requires a resilient learning support assistant who holds a valid team-teach qualification. If you do not hold a team teach qualification but are successful in the interview stages, training will be provided.

5. Long Term, Temp to Perm
6. Hours: Full time
7. Minimum rate £95 per day
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
8. A level of understanding/experience in childcare and special educational needs setting would be advantageous
9. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year – Prospero can provide this

11. Ability to recognise the needs of individuals and deliver the relevant and effective teaching
12. Have high expectations for the staff and pupils and ensure these are delivered and achieved

15. Hold Right to Work in the UK
16. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
