Ward 34 is a 34 bedded Acute Stroke and Neurology ward caring for patients following stroke or those with complex neurological conditions. We are seeking motivated individuals to join the nursing team.
Main duties of the job
Applicants for this post must demonstrate a genuine desire to work in this specialty and be committed to delivering high-quality patient-centered care. Experience as a Healthcare Assistant would be desirable. Applicants must possess NVQ level 2 in direct care or equivalent qualification/experience; training will be given.

Qualifications and Training
* Must complete the care certificate within the 6 months probationary period and ‘on the job training’; instruction will be provided – this is an NHS entry-level 7 requirement.
Knowledge & Skills
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
* Time-keeping, planning, and prioritisation skills.
* Basic IT skills to use electronic patient records and other Trust systems.
* Basic analytical, numerical, literacy, and judgement skills.
