Job Purpose
1. To undertake the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that a high level of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the school on a daily basis
Main Tasks
2. To ensure that all works carried out are completed with due observation to appropriate Health & Safety requirements
3. Cleaning, sweeping and vacuum cleaning
4. Empty and clean bins and remove waste to designated area, including the
5. separation of waste, i.e. recycling
6. Washing, dusting and polishing surfaces, including floors, walls, tables etc.
7. Cleaning of toilet areas, to include replenishing of toilet rolls and soap
8. To undertake a Deep Clean which includes, all of the above, plus for example skirting boards, walls and to clean internal glass and internal and external door glass

Waterloo Lodge is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 11 to 18, catering for pupils with a wide range of needs in Lancashire, Manchester and surrounding areas.
