Job description
Our client, a leading retail company in the optical industry, is seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong business change experience within the retail sector, to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Take ownership of multiple projects from initiation to completion
2. Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines
3. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery
4. Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and budget
5. Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders
6. Drive the implementation of best practices and continuous process improvement
7. Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and standards
8. Manage vendor relationships and third-party suppliers
Job Requirements:
9. Significant experience in project management, ideally within the Retail industry
10. Demonstrated expertise in managing complex programs within the retail sector.
11. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
13. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
14. Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
15. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
16. Relevant certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile, are highly desirable
