Every person deserves the right to access meaningful education. That’s where you come in. As an Teacher, you’ll ensure that neurodiverse young adults (Aged between 16 and 25) have the best education opportunities available. You’ll take a leading role in our English curriculum, designing and delivering classes for learners working at pre-entry and level 2.
Our curriculum offer is not defined by qualification. It’s structured around the Post 16 Study Programme model, which includes a learning program, work experience, Maths and English, and other non-qualification activities to enrich our learners' experience and prepare them for adulthood. Whilst most teachers will focus on a broader curriculum, your role will specifically focus on teaching English, and supporting other teaching colleagues in their English classes. You’ll be in a great position to do this as we’re a total communication environment.
You’ll get all the training and support you need to make sure our learners have the best experience possible. Whether it be curriculum development skills or working with our integrated therapies team to support our learners.
This college has between 5 and 7 learners in each class, so you’ll have the chance to really get to know the learners you support.
