Job Summary
Based in our busy East Cowes facilities, the Print Room Archivist will be responsible for day-to-day reprography, printing, archiving, and business partner services to all departments within the business.
Job Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities will include:
* Provide a companywide printing service.
* Provide archiving and retrieval services incorporating historic quality documentation searches for all GKN departments.
* Co-ordinate the shredding of ITAR, Export Control or Company sensitive information sent to the department for archiving (Job Cards).
* Arrange and co-ordinate the outsourcing of printing requirements as necessary.
* Compile quotations for printing and office stationary.
* Ensure appropriate stocks of printing paper (Job Cards).
* Create and maintain all Business Partners information to the business databases and software as required.
Job Qualifications
Suitably qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Strong and accurate data entry skills;
* Reliable, trustworthy, and able to effectively manage their own workload;
* Methodical, organised, and with a high level of attention to detail;
* Knowledge of specialist archive and printing software would be beneficial, but training can be given;
* Competent with off the shelf (Windows) software.
