An exciting opportunity has arisen for individuals to join our dedicated team.
Mains House provides nursing and residential care services for 25 older and adults and we are looking for flexible and committed individuals to join our friendly, dedicated team working with our lovely residents.
The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and duties will include supporting individuals with the full range of daily living activities; day to day personal care and welfare of the residents along with key-worker responsibilities. The post holder will be responsible for leading the shift in the absence of the manager. Other duties include administering prescribed medication, supervision, and mentorship of junior staff. Experience is preferable but training will be given.
The individual must be able to demonstrate awareness of the complex physical, mental, and emotional needs of older adults and be able to respond in an enabling way. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate good team working, and communication skills. SVQ 3 desirable but training can be provided.
Successful candidates will be expected to work on rotational day and night shifts. The post can be full or part time.
