Our residential centre in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight encompasses a specialist school and sixth form and innovative Post 19 provision. Job Overview
We are looking for energetic, supportive and inspiring individuals to join our residential support teams in our student houses in Ventnor. We are interested in applicants who may wish to work full or part time.
Successful applicants will have a flexible, enthusiastic approach and experience of working with children/young people and as part of a team. Patient, motivated and with a good sense of humour, candidates will be caring and able to make decisions that support the development of life skills for our students.
An NVQ 3 in health and social care is desirable – or a willingness to work towards this.
Terms and Conditions
Term Time Only. Hours to be confirmed – Full-Time = 39 hours. Full or Part Time Hours will be considered. There may be shift work, depending on the hours worked. Roles are available in our school/college and Post 19 provision. Permanent and Fixed Term Roles available. £11.80 per hour.
Posts are subject to an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service Check. In addition, all staff have a responsibility to work within St Catherine’s Child Protection Policy. Failure by a member of staff to report actual or reasonably suspected physical, sexual or emotional abuse or neglect of a child may be considered a disciplinary offence.
