Our client is a broker based in Shrewsbury, looking for a Senior Claims Manager to join their team. The purpose of the role is to manage the entire claims process, from receipt to settlement, for Commercial, Agricultural, and Personal Lines Business.
Main Duties:
* Manage and oversee claims processing accurately and efficiently across all lines.
* Assist clients with claims inquiries by either handling directly or providing contact information for insurers.
* Supervise claims handlers and provide guidance and support as needed.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve claims processing efficiency.
* Communicate effectively with clients, loss adjusters, and account handlers.
* Review claims to ensure accuracy, compliance, and satisfactory settlements.
Essential Skills Required:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Senior Claims Management role or related field
* At least 5 years of experience in a Claims Role
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software (Acturis)

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
