YPolitics is looking for multiple student writers to join its team as we re-launch in a couple of weeks time. yPolitics is a student run website that provides a platform for young people to write about current affairs whilst also making the news more accessible for young people. Interested in journalism, politics, economics, or international affairs? Looking to gain more experience for your CV? Keen to write about issues and topics that you care about? If this is you, consider joining the yPolitics team. What you will be doing: You'll be writing articles about anything that you are interested in to be published on the website. It's a great opportunity to show off your writing skills and expand your experience. As students, we understand that life can be very hectic, so we don’t ask for a specific number of contributions a month or anything like that. But we ask that you try to contribute as frequently as you can. There will be opportunities down the line to take on more responsibility, like editing articles and being more involved with the running of the website if this is something you would be interested in. As the website is founded and run by students we aren’t able to offer payment, but this is a great opportunity to use your spare time to add real value to your CV What we generally look for in writers: University Students or 6th Form/College Students A passion for journalism, politics, economics and international relations Reliability and consistency High quality and clarity of writing Strong communication skills Apply by sending an email to jamieypolitics.co.uk with your CV and something you have written before (if you have something).
