Role overview:
You will be working in a manufacturing business, for low volume, high quality specialised products.
Please note: successful candidates will be required to complete their training at the Steatite site based in Redditch prior to the opening of the Tewkesbury site.
This role will be subject to Security Clearance. Factors including your nationality, previous nationalities that you may have held and your place of birth may affect your eligibility to apply for this role.
Responsibilities/Main Duties:
* Mechanical assembly of components and products.
* Assemble and test electrical/computer components and systems.
* Interpret technical documentation and drawings.
* Must be able to use various hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, allen keys, ratchet sets, and electric power tools.
* Communicate technical issues and escalate as needed.
* Perform mechanical assembly and maintain accurate records.
* Support other business areas as required.
Qualifications:
* Understanding of computer hardware and Windows OS.
* High manual dexterity with attention to detail.
* Ability to follow build instructions accurately.
* Teamwork, effective communication, and organised work style.
* Eagerness to learn, adaptable, and deadline-driven.
* Physically fit for potential physical demands.
Ability to solder & wire would be an added advantage.
Hours: 38-40 per week
