We are a supportive and dynamic team with a strong ethos in enabling individuals to develop facilitated by regular opportunities to work alongside experienced band 7 and 8 Pelvic Health Physios. We are keen to invest in your development and support you to become a specialist in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.
Main duties of the job
As a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, you'll work closely with our highly skilled and experienced Band 7/8 Pelvic Health Physiotherapists and will be jointly responsible for clinically leading the development and provision of Pelvic Health Physiotherapy services.
After a a period of training, you'll work as an autonomous practitioner and provide specialised assessment and intervention within the speciality of pelvic health conditions, including patients who may have highly complex presentations, with the aim of facilitating short and long term self-management approaches to their condition
You'll also be required to support, teach and appraise more junior staff and support student physiotherapists.

Qualifications
Essential
7. Degree/diploma level education leading to Registration by the Health Professions Council (UK) as a Physiotherapist
8. Evidence of relevant and up to date post graduate training in the relevant area
9. Relevant validated clinical courses.
Desirable
10. Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
11. Evidence of undertaking POGP course
12. Evidence of shadowing or CPD in Pelvic Health
Experience
Essential
13. Substantial experience within NHS clinical skills encompassing the core areas of exercise therapy, management of pain relief, mobility training and therapeutic handling
14. Sound assessment skills with clinical reasoning and analytical ability
15. Ability to manage own caseload and prioritise workload pressures
16. Understanding of Health and Safety and Risk Management Policies

17. Experience in clinical setting of pelvic health
