Account Manager – Semiconductors – Scotland
An exciting opportunity to join a growing and innovative company focused on compound semiconductor devices providing customised chipsets for silicon photonics, laser arrays, and optical amplifiers.
The successful Account Manager will be an integral part of the sales team, entrusted with managing existing foundry customer accounts, with the responsibility to cultivate and enhance client relationships, ensuring the delivery of exemplary service, sustainable growth, and partnership objectives. You will gain a deep understanding of the customers’ business needs and pain points to enhance service delivery and to represent the voice of the customer in internally.
Candidates will be degree qualified within engineering or business, and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment. Previous account management or project management experience would be highly advantageous and experience in photonics or semiconductor wafer fabrication is preferred.
Account Manager Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or related business field
2. Proven experience within semiconductor wafer fabrication and/or photonics
3. Account Management or Project management experience
4. Proactive and organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
5. Results-oriented with a sense of urgency and commitment to quality
6. A team player with energy, drive, and a passion for achieving targets.
7. Comfortable in an environment characterised by an advanced start-up culture.
