We're looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager to lead our driving range operations at our Rossendale site. This vital role focuses on managing the day-to-day activities of the driving range, ensuring that every customer enjoys a seamless, enjoyable experience. As the forefront of our operational success, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the operation of the driving range, ensuring a seamless experience for guests and staff. Implement strategies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
2. Oversee the opening and closing of the range, manage unsociable hours and weekend shifts, and ensure all health and safety standards are met.
3. Handle financial aspects, including cash handling, till management, and safe checks, with a focus on the range’s profitability.
4. Recruit, train, and lead staff, creating schedules and assigning duties to ensure the range operates smoothly and efficiently.
5. Conduct regular checks and coordinate maintenance work to keep the range in top condition, ensuring all equipment is functional and safe.
6. Provide exceptional service at the range, resolving issues promptly and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests.
7. Collaborate with the Site Manager to analyse KPIs and performance metrics specific to the range and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
The Candidate:
8. Industry-Relevant Management Experience: Demonstrated leadership within leisure, hospitality, or sports settings, with a preference for those familiar with golf or driving range operations.
9. Adaptable Work Schedule: Willingness to accommodate the facility’s needs by working early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
10. Leadership and Customer Service Excellence: Exceptional ability in guiding teams, serving customers, solving problems, and managing finances effectively.
