Longstanding St Helens based Accountancy practice are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the Bookkeeping team taking control of a portfolio of varied companies carrying out the Bookkeeping, Payroll, VAT, and regular production of Management accounts all while sticking to relevant deadlines and providing a great all-around service.
The Practice Bookkeeper will have experience using Xero & Sage whilst also having a good knowledge of producing in depth management accounts and payroll.
Practice Bookkeeper Position Overview
1. Taking control of a portfolio of clients being the first point of contact
2. Preparing And Submitting VAT returns
3. Preparing and reviewing bookkeeping
4. Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
5. Weekly, fortnightly & monthly payrolls
6. Process auto-enrolment and redeclaration of pensions
Practice Bookkeeper Position Requirements
7. Experience within practice
8. Experience preparing payroll
9. Competent using MS Outlook, Word and Excel
10. Competent using Xero
11. Experience of Iris and Sage software packages would be preferable
Practice Bookkeeper Position Remuneration
12. Up to £27,000 per annum DOE
13. Monday to Friday - 9:00am - 17:00pm
14. 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
