We are seeking an Employer Engagement Worker to join our specialist Leeds team to promote our specialist service for sensory impaired people.
Responsibilities:
* Identify and engage with key stakeholders including employers, DWP Job Centre Plus, and training providers in order to build and maintain relationships. Build a bank of employers willing to provide live vacancies, work placements, and training opportunities.
* Identify live job vacancies and opportunities advertised by other organisations and work with the in-house employment team to ensure these job vacancies are shared with their clients.
* Attend networking events including breakfast meetings and job fairs in order to promote the service.
To be successful for this post:
* You will have excellent communication and presentation skills.
* You are able to promote the service and encourage organisations and sensory impaired people to access the project.
* You have the skills to work directly with sensory impaired people, providing one-to-one support when needed.
