Accounts Assistant
Tallis Amos Group Limited are seeking to recruit a part time Accounts Assistant to join our busy finance team in Evesham.
This is a part time position, and we are offering £13 per hour for 20-30 hours per week
Job Role
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of accounting and administrative tasks to support the continued growth of the business. The main focus of this role is to complete the daily sales postings to our bespoke accounting software, along with general accounts and admin work.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
1. Completing daily sales reconciliation.
2. Posting nominal, sales and purchase ledger transactions.
3. Processing purchase invoices.
4. Processing company credit card transactions.
5. Assisting Financial Accountant with month end, reporting and data entry as required.
6. Assisting the Purchase Ledger and Credit Control function with ad hoc tasks or cover.
Skills and requirements:
1. Relevant experience in a previous role, or AAT qualification is desirable.
2. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
3. Good telephone manner.
4. Accurate and efficient in data entry, with attention to detail.
5. A good team player, but also able to work under own initiative.
6. Good level of computer skills, particularly Excel.
Role details and benefits
1. Probation Period: 6 months
2. Holiday entitlement 23 days per annum, plus Bank Holidays – pro rata.
3. Pension – Auto enrolment after 3 months service.
