Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is in the process of implementing Inventory Management. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and flexible candidate with great attention to detail who will support the Supply Chain Transformation Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a career in project management. As part of a small team you will contribute to the project life cycle from concept to close.
Main duties of the job
* Provide administrative support to the Supply Chain Transformation Team.
* Assist in the physical preparation of Stock holding areas- sorting, organising and labelling.
* Work with clinical departments to layout stores and implement Inventory Management systems.
* Work with the project team checking inventory using the Electronic Data Capture devices.
* Support the Data and Systems team when required.
* Investigate data/stock discrepancies, problem solving, and conveying information to Ward Managers.
* To offer specialist on the ground support for all queries relating to stock and systems hardware.
* Develop stakeholder relationships and support the new order processes.
* Support systems and process training for users.
The role will require some physical lifting of product and some weekend working may be required based on occasion.

Purpose: Supply Chain Transformation is an increasingly important corporate function within OUH.
Key tasks
* Work as part of the Supply Chain Transformation team to provide administrative support to deliver an effective and efficient roll out of Inventory Management.
* Acts as the first point of contact for enquiries from end users.
* Maintain project library, database, resources and hardware logs.
* Support end user training.
Responsibilities
* To work with the Inventory Management project team providing administrative support.
* To assist in preparing locations for the implementation of Inventory Management; the physical preparation of Stock holding areas- sorting, organising and labelling.
* Work with clinical departments to layout stores in line with the Inventory Management principles.
* Carry out inventory stock audits.
* Organise meetings, plan presentations/coordinate multi-disciplinary meetings.
* To ensure an effective and efficient electronic supply chain service is provided to all customers within the Trust.

Person specification
* Good standard of secondary education to GCSE level in Mathematics and English Language.
* Computer Literate.
