The purpose of a GSOC Operations Analyst is to populate the monitoring and response work stations that conduct the key functions of alarm monitoring and crisis response within the Global Security Operations Centre.
* Working 12 hour shifts - Days, Nights and weekends
Job Opportunity
Your responsibilities will include:
* The GSOC is the coordination focal point for security operations monitoring and crisis response across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The GSOC operates 24/7, 365 days a year, OAs and management.
* As a Operations Analyst you will be the initial point of contact for enquires and communications with national and international clients by monitoring and responding to alarm activations across many different countries.
* Where necessary you will be providing advice to callers and reporting incidents using the designated reporting procedures and protocols set out by us and our clients.
* You will also be maintaining appropriate and timely coordination between client sites, personnel, and the appropriate Global Physical Security (GPS) and other Lines of Business management on a daily basis.
Essential Skills
Essentials:
* SIA licence (or willing to train to achieve this qualification)
* Right to work in the UK with a 5 year checkable history
* Good communicator, team player and multi-tasker
* Good computer skills
* Good written and verbal comprehension.
* Able to remain calm and professional
* Ability to provide clear and concise advice
* Have an understanding of or have the ability to learn the main tenets of safety and security operations and procedures
