Your newpany
My client are a leading supplier of specialist manufacturing and engineering equipment. Part of the leading multi-brand supplier in Europe, they are growing and expanding whilst maintaining their 'family feel' in the UK. Investing into their Marketing team, we are recruiting the new role of Digital Marketing Executive to be based at their Surrey offices 3 days a week.
Your new role
As Digital Marketing Executive, you will develop and implement digital marketing plans and campaigns cross-channel, increasing online presence, brand awareness and driving traffic to their multiple brand websites. In fact, web management makes up a significant focus for this role - you will upload and manage content online, update product catalogues and keywords, whilst using Google Analytics to understand customer behaviour online and optimise sites accordingly. You will delve into both SEO and PPC to optimise sites for search and drive web traffic, whilst planning and executing conversion tests.
You will also have the opportunity to take the lead on developing and driving digital campaigns across social channels, email marketing, and other paid media channels (display ads etc.) This job will offer you the chance to build on existing experience to take the lead, try new things, and develop skills in new channels.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a couple of years experience in Digital Marketing, and be able to demonstrate skills and success with website management and social media. You will have experience of using Google Analytics and other digital marketing tools to optimise landing pages and online user journeys, and a basic understanding of SEO is desirable. You will be able to create and manage content on WordPress sites, and additional skills in email marketing, A/B testing, paid ads and other digital channels are advantageous.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience, plus benefits including a good pension scheme, increasing holiday entitlement, employee benefits portal, Health Cash plan and a strong culture of career progression - this role will offer training in software and channels you may have had less exposure to, such as Google Ads, and will offer progression to take a more leading role in digital strategy rather than pure execution. You will also have the opportunity to work from home, requiring 3 days a week at their offices near Cranleigh, Surrey (south of Guildford).
